Would a USB Ane controller piece of work with the Xbox 360?
Buying a 360 to play all my favourite games from adolescence but much adopt the One controller. I know the wireless ones don't work just was curious if anyone had experience with a plug in controller.

Before buying a 360, why not check if the games you have are backwards comparable and volition work on your Xbox 1? Unless you have whichever model it is that doesn't take a disc drive.

Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers are not compatible with each others console. You can Non utilise a 360 controller on a One and you also can Non use a One controller on a 360 :(
Backwards compatibility is only for certain 360 and original Xbox games that can be played on the Xbox One, simply you however need an Xbox 1 controller to use on the Xbox One.
